Gili Air

Gili Air is a small coral island off the coast of Lombok. Gili Air gets its name from the Indonesian word for water, as it has a natural fresh water spring in the middle of the island (unlike Gili T and Gili Meno, which rely on Reverse Osmosis, rainwater storage, and water delivery).  Gili Air sits adjacent to neighboring islands Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan forming part of “the three Gilis”. Like Gili T and Gili Meno, there are no motorized vehicles on Gili Air, making it a tranquil place to holiday. Gili Air is famous for its laid back vibe, as well as its restaurants and bars. There are also some great parties on Gili Air, that can run through to morning.
