Divine Divers Location
Divine Divers are located on the North West coast of Gili Meno, close to Mahamaya hotel. They’re relatively easy to find using Google Maps, but if you’re struggling to locate them, ask one of the friendly locals who will point you in the right direction. Learn to SCUBA dive on the Gili Islands
Divine Divers offer all levels of recreational scuba diving courses, as well as fun gili islands diving for certified divers in the warm and crystal waters of the Gili Islands, also known as the turtle capital of the diving world. Begin your scuba adventure, reach the next certification level or even begin a career in diving. Our modern training facilities ensure you have nothing to worry about but the courses themselves.
Divine Divers offer daily introduction dives for first bubbles under water. Discover Scuba Dives only take a few hours and they are a great introduction to diving. If you’ve liked your first diving experience, you can simply continue with an Open Water Course.
If you know diving is for you, you can also start right away with the training for the Open Water ticket. Millions of people have learned to dive through this course and you will too! You will be taught theory, practice in the necessary skills and more importantly go on four spectacular dives. To enroll you must be 10 years or older and in good physical health. The course certifies you to become autonomous and self-sufficient diver.
We conduct the training in 3 days to allow you to also enjoy the beautiful white beaches and other thrilling activities the island has on offer. No visitor of Gili Meno should miss out on snorkeling the instagramable Bask Nest, also known as the Meno Statues.
Gili Islands Diving: Advanced Courses
The advanced course is all about Explore – Experience – Enjoy! You don’t have to be an advanced diver to take it – it is designed to advance your diving. The course helps you to build confidence through five different adventure dives, each one under a different motto. You can choose in between deep diving, navigation diving, night diving and many other fun dives such as drift, shark, wreck dive, u/w naturalist, fish-ID, u/w photography and many more. There is no final exam and the course can be completed in 2 days.

Divine Divers Gili Meno - Instructors & Methodology
The instructors at Divine Divers are committed to you as a diving student. The aim of a course is not to check off skills but to truly improve your diving abilities. In addition, we speak your language. Besides English we can teach in Indonesian, Dutch, German and sometimes even a little bit in French (joking, we do teach in French). An instructor will never take more than four students to make sure that everyone will get a lot of attention but also to keep things personal. Rumour has it, some people have even found a husband or a wife during a diving course.

Fun Diving with Divine Divers
Due to their central location Divine Divers have easy access to all of the Gili dive sites within a 10 minutes boat ride, with many of the most famous sites right in front of our doorstep. Their daily fun dive trips are open for all levels of certified divers. They are guided underwater exploration tours and you will get to see the best of the dive sites with an experienced divemaster. Due to prevailing currents, most Gili dive sites are best seen on a drift dive from a boat.
The dive sites of the Gili Islands have a great marine diversity with sought after critters like ornate ghost pipe fish, frogfish and nudibranchs. But also reef sharks are frequently spotted as well as octopus along with tuna, barracuda, trevally and occasional passing eagle rays. Among the hunters you will find colourful tropical reef dwellers such as sweetlips, pufferfish, angelfish, batfish, butterflyfish, lionfish, scorpionfish and schooling snappers, fusiliers and damsels. Oh and did we mention the turtles?
Dive sites are chosen daily for the next day. Divine Divers’ boat leaves three times a day at 08:30, 11:00 and 14:00. Throughout the week, Divine Divers also schedule night dives. By leaving half an hour earlier than everybody else on the Gilis, we ensure that we have the beautiful dive sites to ourselves because we will resurface once the other dive boats turn up. Our boats are traditional Indonesian dive boats with a spacious sundeck. After your dive, you can dry off, sunbathe and enjoy the spectacular view.
Once back in the dive center, you will log your dive together with your group and your dive guide to not forget the amazing fish you have seen.
Gili Islands Dive Sites
The dive sites of the Gili Islands offer something for everyone. You can experience gentle to strong drift dives, walls, wrecks and pinnacles. Moreover, there are also some beautiful muck dive sites where you can expect to have your nose in the sand looking for tiny and extraordinary creatures. The Gilis Islands also feature the largest biorock program (artificial reefs) in the world. Hard and soft corals can be found at different depths. Popular dive sites include Shark Point, Sunset Reef (also known as Manta Point), Deep Turbo and Meno Wall.. In addition, Lombok, which offers world-class muck-diving is only 15 to 20 minutes away.
The water is crystal clear, warm and the conditions are perfect for beginners and experts alike. Conditions vary depending on the season but in general you can expect 20 meters visibility and 28 to 29 degrees water temperature. It is safe to say that the Gilis offer great diving all year round with the dry season running from May to October and the rainy season from November to April. Rainy season sounds scarier than it is because it doesn’t really rain that much and the diving isn’t affected by the rain.
